| With the arrival of spring, the committee continued to work on the garden. The brick edging was completed on the pathways, more trees were planted, rock markers recognizing donations were placed in the garden and the bridge and container garden were built. | |||

| The hard work paid off as the results became visible. With the arrival of spring 2001 the garden burst in to flower - yellow in keeping with the East Gwillimbury Millennium theme. |
