Molson's Local Heroes Award
| The committee was presented with the Molson's Local Heroes award on June 9, 2001. Each year, Molson provides funding for individuals to improve existing sports and recreational facilities. The funds from Molson subsidize the cost of materials necessary to improve the facility. Local Heroes supply the people power and project coordination. To qualify, the facility must be accessible to everyone in the community. The garden committee used this grant money to put finishing touches on the garden. |
