Masonic Lodge

70 Main Street

The Masonic Lodge is located on the north side of Main Street just west of the public parking lot.  The building was originally the Sunday School room and shed attached to the Presbyterian Church.

When the Church was relocated further west on Main Street in 1920, the Sunday School room and shed were not taken.  Instead they were sold to the United Farmers Organization who raised the Sunday School room and added a lower level.

Later the building was sold to the Masonic Lodge.

Originally, the Lodge only used the room upstairs and the downstairs room was used for other purposes.

In 1962 Walter Armstrong had an implement shop downstairs.

In 1963 Murray Burton rented the downstairs as a showroom for his wares.

Currently the Lodge is using the entire building.
