Nestled
in the farm belt of South-Central Ontario, the village of Mount
Albert is a blend of thriving businesses, century homes and new
subdivisions. Initially settled in 1821, Mount Albert has retained
an historic look while incorporating growth. Mount Albert is located
at the eastern boundary of the Town of East Gwillimbury in the
northeastern section of the Region of York. It is within a 15-minute
drive of the towns of Newmarket, Uxbridge, Sutton and Stouffville
and 45 minutes north of the city of Toronto. Many other cities,
such as Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Windsor, Detroit, Ottawa, Montreal,
as well as the tourist areas of Lake Simcoe, Muskoka, Kawartha
and Algonquin Park are within a few hours drive of Mount Albert.
